About Zebrano

Zebrano, as it is commonly known, is mostly distributed from West Africa.

Its heartwood has a light golden-yellow colour with narrow veining of dark brown to almost black, giving the surface a zebra-stripe appearance.

Zebrano is classed as a hardwood that is a hard, heavy, and stable timber

It is generally a difficult to dry lumber, requiring great care to reduce surface checking and splitting.
