Birch description

About Birch

Birch is mostly distributed from the USA and Canada.

It has a golden amber colour with pale sap wood mixed with dark red-brown tones that result in a wavy grain with significant colour variation.

Birch has a medium density and good mechanical properties for steam bending. Its good working properties mean that it cuts well, and will accept most types of adhesives, finishes, and stains.

Birch Flooring

Birch is no longer popular as a floor
