Autumn 2015

Autumn 2015

Add warmth and tactility into your home this Autumn

To complement the season distinguished by rich colours and a change in the weather, a wide, oiled oak floor can make for an inviting place to be. Whether you lay the boards in one room or throughout the house, these boards can become an integral part of the home.

Drift Wood Oak

Oak Engineered Board Drift Wood Pre-oiled

Drift wood combines light and dark shades of grey, which work with the lightly brushed surface of the wood to add depth to the timber. The bleached, faded look is prefect for creating a cool Scandi look.  With its grey tones and rustic looking knots, this floor has boundless character and style.

You can see more of our Drift Wood oak in The Sanctuary, a 19th century church conversion on St. John’s Hill in Battersea.

Antique Blue has a very subtle bluey, grey tint, perfect for those who prefer darker tones with a contemporary edge. This floor is all about the wood’s striking grain patterns, which are emphasised by applying a much darker greyish black oil into a brushed surface.

Pre-Oiled Flooring: Durable, Good Looking, and Easy to Maintain

Pre-oiled flooring is designed to create an attractive finish derived from natural oils and waxes. These floors are suitable for most types of fitting method including installation over under floor heating.

It is recommended that all pre-oiled floors have an additional coat of oil after installation. Pre-oiled flooring is designed to be maintained by the customer rather than having to engage expert flooring contractors to periodically replenish the finish.
