GENERAL:

The Natural Wood Floor Company has a wide variety of wood species and colours available in a range of widths to best suit your personal specification.

Ideal for a kitchen or dining area, wood flooring can be kept clean with a minimal amount of effort. All finishes have been tested for their durability and resistance to any spillages that may occur. We stock a range of maintenance products compatible for use with all the finishes that we provide, making it easy to periodically renew the floor in these high traffic areas.

Here is a selection of kitchen and dining areas that have had flooring supplied by us.

Please call us if you would like to know more information and see more pictures to help you with your selection.

FLOORING TYPES

Traditional hardwood solid boards, parquet wood blocks or structural engineered flooring are available for any kitchen or dining area, meaning that whatever the sub-floor or particular traffic level requirement, we can provide a floor that is suited for the environment.

If easy installation is what you require, pre-finished flooring can be purchased, needing no additional treatment it can be in use as soon as laid. Additional flooring protection can be applied for areas that have particularly heavy levels of traffic.

All of our pre-finished floors are manufactured at our European sawmill and have a six coat lacquered finish, combining a great natural appearance with a very low maintenance and durable seal.

SPECIES:

We provide a range of species in both solid and /or engineered flooring that include ash, karri, iroko, maple, merbau, oak, panga panga, walnut, wenge and Zimbabwe teak.

FINISHES:

For a floor more tailored to your particular tastes, unfinished flooring can be sanded and sealed on site using either oils for an attractive natural look or clear commercial lacquers for a low maintenance, durable finish.

A pre-finished material can be fitted quickly, requiring no time for a finish to cure afterwards. Once fitted the flooring can be covered with our flame retardant floor protection sheets, ensuring the quality finish is kept immaculate whilst remaining works are carried out.
