GENERAL:

The Natural Wood Floor Company supplies a range of different wood floor species and specifications for your bedroom. Bedrooms offer limitless choice of flooring construction types, species and styles due to low levels of foot traffic normally associated with bedrooms.

FLOORING TYPES

Traditional hardwood narrow strip solid boards, parquet wood blocks or engineered flooring are available for any bedroom area, meaning that whatever the sub-floor or particular requirement, we can provide a floor that will suit any environment.

If easy installation is what you require, pre-finished flooring can be purchased, needing no additional treatment as it can be in use as soon as laid. This way a professional finish can be achieved by even the most novice of floor layers.

For a floor more tailored for your particular tastes, unfinished flooring can be sanded and sealed on site using either oils for an attractive natural look or clear commercial lacquers for a low maintenance, durable finish.

SPECIES:

We provide a range of species in both solid and /or engineered flooring which include ash, cherry, elm, iroko, karri, maple, merbau, oak, panga panga, walnut, wenge and Zimbabwe teak.

FINISHES:

For finishing purposes both oils and lacquers are equally suitable. Both are micro porous and will protect against reasonable water penetration.

If a pre-finished flooring is preferred an additional coat of finish is recommended.

Finishes for un-finished flooring vary depending on the specific product. We will provide advise accordingly.
