Pre-oiled flooring is designed to create an attractive finish derived from natural oils and waxes.

Large open cracks and knots are brought to life to create an authentic, antique look with loads of character. This design is on-trend, as the distinctive, distressed timber works hand-in-hand with the range of hard wax oils or finishes. An effortless way to achieve a coastal chic look.

It is recommended that all pre-oiled floors have an additional coat of oil after installation. Pre-oiled flooring is designed to be maintained by the customer rather than having to engage expert flooring contractors to periodically replenish the finish.

The term 'distressed' is used to describe a floor that has old or worn characteristics such as large open knots and cracks that may or may not be filled fully to the surface, uneven colour and/or some form of surface brushing to allow more texture.
